I just received TurningPoint ARS training, what do I do now?

To setup before the class: 


1) Make sure you have setup your TurningAccount so that you can use Responseware. You should have received an email from TurningTechnologies inviting you to the CUMC TurningPoint license. If you did not receive this email, please contact cumc-ars@columbia.edu 

2) Go to this page to download the TurningPoint software onto your computer: What do I need to get started with using TurningPoint ARS? 

3) Once you have downloaded the software, double-click on the TurningPoint icon to open the software. TurningPoint will open up PowerPoint. You can open up a PowerPoint presentation you have been working on or begin by clicking "+ New" to add new interactive TurningPoint slides. 

4) Create a slide with the following information for your students to be able to respond to your interactive slides:

Session ID: (this is automatically generated for you when you login to ResponseWare or you have one you have reserved) 

During class: 


1) Open up TurningPoint

2) Once PowerPoint is open, open up the PowerPoint in which you have created your interactive slides. 

3) Click on "Reset" to reset your session. 

4) Login to ResponseWare. Be sure to click check off: "Allow Guests" and "Do not prompt participants to enter user information." Type in your Session ID if you have one. 

5) Make sure to give your students the following information:
