The textbooks tool was created by CUIT and is an app that works inside of CourseWorks. The first time you use the textbooks tool you will be asked to authorize the app. This is normal and will only happen once. Click “authorize” to continue.
You can then add your textbooks. The textbooks tool will appear on the left in the Course Navigation menu. Click “Textbooks.” A window will open that gives you options to add textbook individually or to import them from a previous course. You can also use this window to state that there are no textbooks required for the course. You will need the ISBNs for your textbooks and/or the author, date, publisher, and year published for each of your books.
