Why are my images appearing cropped?

EdBlogs has default maximum pixel settings set at no larger than 1024 pixels. You can adjust these settings in your blog by going to settings > media.

When you upload images to your EdBlog, the system will crop those images to a size for the web. That means if your images are larger than the settings on the site, you may lose some of the image in the cropping process.

Most high resolution images are too big to upload directly to the web. They will appear too large and take too long to load in the browser page. It is best to prepare your images before uploading them to EdBlogs. To do this, you can resize them using an image editing software of your choice. For EdBlogs, your image width and height should be no larger than 1024 pixels.
